Who is Elmira?

Elmira is a member of the Scout Regiment, a previous member of the 104th Cadet Corps, graduating 12th best cadet, and the current holder of the Looting Titan. She is the youngest daughter of Isme and Fulke Dunne, and younger sister to Yve Dunne. She was born in Trost, on the 13th of December, 835.

Appearance

Elmira's face claim is Kurona Yasuhisa from Tokyo Ghoul. She has long, inky black hair, fair skin, and seafoam coloured eyes. She is of average female height and body shape.

She wears standard issue uniform with a black lace-up hoodie beneath, and a silver military dog tag engraved with a skull around her neck.

Personality.

Elmira is an extremely sarcastic, witty person, and enjoys teasing those around her. She is well acquainted with her comrades, however sometimes finds it difficult to display care and compassion, trying her absolute best through the use of jokes and small gestures. She dislikes team-based exercises, but will perform in a team environment when necessary. She is partial to profanity, and is often scolded for her "potty mouth." She is a reckless, impulsive, and unafraid fighter in battle, and will go to any length to achieve victory. She is ambitious, and spends all of her time rigorously, laboriously and relentlessly training, hellbent on becoming as powerful as possible. Her strength compensates for the powerlessness she felt as a child, and quenches the thirst of Ymir's curse upon her family. Despite knowing titans are humans, she still secretly finds pleasure in slaying them. This is a symptom of her inward desire to betray her own, though she simply regards it as "freeing her people." She is also quite impatient, and hates anything that is long or drawn out.

Titan.

Elmira's titan, named the Looting Titan, is a 15-metre tall titan resembling Frieda Reiss' Founding Titan. The name itself describes its capabilities: It has the ability to steal (loot) parts of other titans at will - for instance hardening, sharp teeth and claws - and apply it to a concentrated area of it's body through ingestion or touch. It has long black hair and piercing green eyes. It is extremely agile and fast for its size due to the user's own dexterity, however there are drawbacks to her impressive abilities. When mimicking, her regeneration is slowed significantly, and the process of altering of her body structure takes a considerable amount of time.

Family.

The Dunnes are an ancestry originating outside of Paradis. They gained the Looting Titan's powers by stealing titan spinal fluid and experimenting on themselves. Their malicious, greedy intentions influenced the titan's abilities, and the entire family, cursed by the Founder Ymir, was doomed to betray anyone they came close to.

Isme Bartel was a Marleyan woman, and had an affair with Fulke Dunne, an Eldian. They fled to Paradis after being discovered, and stole Scouting Legion uniforms of the deceased to sneak in after an expedition. Both were cold, ruthless, and unloving parents, and their blatant disregard for their children is attributed to Elmira's trouble maintaining connections with others. In the year 845, the original holder of the Looting Titan, Elmira's older sister Yve, was forcefully fed to her, as Fulke had decided she was unworthy of holding such great power. During the Trost invasion, Fulke sacrificed his wife to a titan in order for himself to survive, and was interrogated and later executed by the Military Police after being caught for his crimes. Upon discovering the truth of her traitorous family, Elmira lies about who they were, and acts as if they never existed.

Relationships.

Eren

Elmira is totally and utterly infatuated with Eren, however it is undecided whether this attraction is predisposed by her desire for him as a person, or her familial desire for his power. She finds herself being unusually shy around him, and develops a stutter when speaking to him. She spent majority of her cadet years quietly observing him, admiring his resolve, and throughout her time as a Scout, she attempted to impress him with her quintessential skill. She is inspired by his search for freedom, and supports him through thick and thin, even when his actions may be unethical. This love is her pitfall; her weakness. Through him, she is easily manipulated.
